I was hoping for "A Heideggerian analysis of kata," or "Kant's ethics and the dojo kun." ;)

Hello Jeffrey,

The Heidegerrian analysis of Kata I just can you give in the Lüneburgian Heide ;-)

And for the Kant an ohter philosophers stuff, and there roll in in the dojo kun, you have to ask my wife, she is intersted in the philosophy and religues stuff. I would do more the quantum analysis of a tsuki, or how can i get my fist to do the tunneling effect ;-)

Hi All. Matt F. from Hamilton N.J. (Trenton area). Currently studying in Golden Eagle Kempo. My Sensei also mixes in some Goju Ryu, TaeKwonDo and Shotokan. I originally started with Isshin Ryu and Jeet kune Do. I just started to take Muay Thai Basics/sparring to get some cardio work outs in.

I eventually would like to return to Isshin Ryu and obtain my Black Belt, but there is only so much time in the day.

Looks like there is a lot of great info on here and can’t wait to read more and contribute.

Matt

Welcome Matt!

There seem to be a bunch of you guys in that area now. I'm sure you'll bump into Jo Roman soon. I grew up just across the river in Yardley, and did Hapkido in Trenton a long time ago. I'm in central PA now but visit your area during the holidays.

There are some great people on this site. Enjoy!

-Jeff

Thanks.

I know Jo, He has bent my wrist and joints in several abnormal positions on a few occasions.

It's been a while since I trained with him though.
